Stuart was elected to President in 2010 and has served on the A&P Committee for many years, following on from his father Barry Bryant. Stuart and his wife Joanne farm at Kohatu, with a key interest in breeding Charolais cattle. Stuart is also a local government representative for the Lakes Murchison ward of the Tasman District Council.
